YAGER is a passionate game development studio based in Berlin and founded in 1999. With our amazing team of highly experienced and skillful developers we create and market unique & innovative action games. With empathy and openness, we enable our over 130 international employees to grow with us to achieve our ambitious goals together.

Our Name

The name YAGER (JEɪɡƏR) comes from the Oxford English Dictionary and has the same meaning and etymological root as the German “Jäger”. It is pronounced YAY-guhr and while written in all caps it means the company, while Yager in standard title case always is our first released game.

Berlin based

Located in the heart of Berlin-Kreuzberg overlooking the river Spree and the famous East Side Gallery, our fully equipped office boasts everything you need, from gaming corners and a huge kitchen, to a streaming studio, and free breakfast every day.

Inclusion

We practice an open door office culture that extends all the way to our founders, while our team of dedicated, peer-appointed Employee Representatives (ER) make sure everyone’s voice is heard. You can’t make great games if you don’t have a little fun along the way, so be prepared for gaming tournaments, after work socials at the local pubs, annual company parties, delicious waffle wednesdays and more.
