BERLIN – April. 25, 2024 – YAGER is celebrating the company’s 25th anniversary during 2024. The festivities kicked off in January with the introduction of the new brand representing YAGER’s achievements and development in the long-lasting history of the Berlin based videogame developer and publisher.
YAGER launched the new company website under www.yager.de earlier this year, not only showcasing the new brand but also offering a glimpse of the company’s goal for 2024: To celebrate the 25th anniversary of the studio by showcasing the games they have developed and released, the ones they have supported and the ones that never came to be. Fitting to this goal, YAGER has announced their official cooperation with two other studios to date.
YAGER uses its Extraction-Shooter experience to support Sharkmob
In their newest cooperation with Sharkmob YAGER is able to bring all the experience and learnings they have made with their Extraction-Shooter The Cycle: Frontier and support the development of Exoborne. YAGER is thrilled to take everything they’ve learned on board as they support Sharkmob in realizing their exciting vision for Exoborne moving into 2024 and beyond.
YAGER supports Funcom with the co-development of Dune: Awakening
As Tencent second party studios the cooperation of YAGER and Funcom is not surprising and has already been going on since 2022. YAGER is very proud that the co-development with Funcom has been focused on the upcoming open world survival MMO Dune: Awakening, which is planned to release on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
YAGER continues developing internal projects
YAGER’s new logo and brand symbolizes the meaningful further development of the studio and showcases the values and mission of the company based on its history and future: Being a passionate game developer who creates and markets unique & innovative action games, while believing the best gameplay stories are those shaped by the players. And this stays true for YAGER who are planning to talk about upcoming projects in future announcements.
Timo Ullmann, Co-Founder and Managing Director of YAGER said: “YAGER can now look back on a storied history of 25 years. Our company values, mission and vision have developed steadily in the past years, and we are proud of our heritage, games, and the support we are able to provide to other studios.
We are YAGER – TRUE TO THE GAME.”
